Florida people call them Gremons.

A neighbor gave us  Pondarosa Lemons to make lemonade.  This lemon is huge.   I lost my sticky that had the measurements :(.  I was  able to squeeze two cups of juice from two of the lemons.  The lemon syrup recipe is below.

Oranges again..

I have 34 more oranges to deal with, in my basket.  I decided to do a little research and see what I could find about oranges.  Some interesting facts, according to Florida Juice. 
 One medium orange has:
0 sodium
260mg potassium
130% vitamin C (can’t beat that!)
Citrus has been farmed commercially in Florida since the mid-1800s.

An orange of a day!

 On January 1st, the kids and I helped ourselves to the neighbor’s orange tree.  It was beautiful.  We now have a large basket of oranges to eat and juice into orange juice. :P  YUM!

No Knead Bread

I made the dough with just the three ingredients needed.
3 cups all-purpose or bread flour, more for dusting
1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
11/4 teaspoons salt
