We came

And saw…

Lots and lots of puppies.

Lady Daughter #1 picked up the first one and claimed it. We were there just to look.

She held onto it and wouldn’t let it out of her site. She would let her sisters hold the pup, but only if she was right there with them. She has no self control. We were there only to look.

Photobucket

There were lots of people and children playing with the pups. It was kinda crazy. I don’t know how the owner was able to keep up with everything. There were two litters. A total of 18 pups, but some had been sold already. Looked like half were black, half were white.  The owner said he had two brown ones. I’m thinking both are sold, since they are popular, so I am just chatting away with the owner. He says, ” this is the first time my dogs pushed out all three colors”. Then he said, “I had a great big yellow male once. Looked like a bear. I had to get rid of him, because he could have broken my girl’s backs.” The girls are dogs, in case you were wondering.  People talk different in the country.

All of a sudden this crazy woman grabs a pup and wouldn’t let go. Wouldn’t let anyone, not even family members, hold her.

Photobucket

Yeah, we were just looking. This crazy woman wouldn’t even let other potential buyers hold the brown pup. Then she decided her husband needed to hold the pup, so he could fall in love with it.

Photobucket

It worked, but we were only there to look.

Then an amazing thing happened. The husband of the crazy woman started talking to the owner about the yellow pup the daughter who has no self control was holding, and the brown pup the crazy woman was holding.

To keep the crazy woman from lying, the husband went to the bank and withdrew enough money to buy both the yellow and the brown pup, because we were there just to look.

After the deal was made. Three other people came up wanting the brown puppy. The crazy woman didn’t have to lie after that and she still wouldn’t let anyone hold her. She’s a good person deep down inside.

So please let me introduce to you…

Oh my gosh Applie! Congratulations! They are so adorable. And not one, but two! That is so like something that we would do…we are such impulse buyers and have never been able to “just look” at anything. What a lucky family.

Last time we were there “just to look” we almost left with 4 puppies, all that were left. Hubby’s reminder that with him gone I’d have to do the majority of training them returned my to the world of sanity. We left with just one puppy.

Keep taking pictures so we can see how the girls grow up.

    They are soooo cute!

That’s what I said when I was on my way to “just look” at Trixie Belle. Today marks our one year anniversary together. Funny how they can just melt your heart with just one look.
